The fifth Vietnam International Conference and Exhibition on Control and Automation (VCCA 2019) will take place from September 4 to 7 at the Friendship Palace, 91 Tran Hung Dao, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi.

With the theme “Automation in the Industrial Revolution 4.0”, the event will include an international scientific conference, an international exhibition, and a business forum.

The latest research and the most recent technologies and products for Vietnam’s industrialization and modernization will be introduced at the international scientific conference, including areas in control, automation, measurement, artificial intelligence, electronics, digitization, and so on.

Some 145 scientific research papers have been submitted by 350 Vietnamese and international scientists from Japan, Switzerland, South Korea, and elsewhere, according to the organizing board. Many submissions are in fields that attract a lot of public interest, such as electric motor control, electric drive, power electronics, energy systems control, industrial robots, and self-propelled electric vehicles, among others.

Meanwhile, the international exhibition will display 200 booths registered by 100 businesses from ten countries and territories such as Japan, South Korea, Thailand, China, Malaysia, Taiwan (China), Singapore, and Vietnam. They will exhibit and introduce high-tech demonstrations in the field of smart lighting, energy-saving smart agriculture, new energy, automobiles and electric scooters, and automation in auxiliary industries.

There will be also a space at the exhibition for young independent groups with the goal of commercializing their products or establishing a startup but lack finance and networks to introduce their products.

The business forum will focus on digital transformation in the economy, energy efficiency and green energy, smart cities, smart agriculture, climate change, logistics, and global value chains.

VCCA is held biennially by the Vietnam Automation Association (VAA) to promote control engineering and automation technology in social and economic development and provide a venue for local and international scientists and enterprises in the field to meet, exchange, and connect.
