Southeast Asian startup among two winners at Asian technology awards.

Social retail platform Ecomobi was one of two winners at the recent Echelon Asia Summit 2019, a technology event held in Singapore. With an innovative idea and a revolutionary platform, Ecomobi successfully overcame more than 1,700 competitors to win the $36,500 prize.

The Echelon Asia Summit is an annual technology event held in Asia since 2009. Hosting over 15,000 attendees, including techno-preneurs, policymakers, industry leaders, and investors from around the world, it was a venue for people in the tech ecosystem to connect, be inspired, and identify new opportunities.

Out of 1,700 startups from Asia, the Top 100 were chosen to pitch on stage. Outstanding startups would then have an opportunity to secure investment from reputable investors.

Ecomobi is a startup in adtech and aims to revolutionize the way people sell online. Established three years ago, it soon secured investment from STI Capital in 2017 and ESP Capital and Nextrans Capital in 2018. It is now a trusted partner of more than 100 major companies across Asia.

With the innovative idea of a social selling platform, Ecomobi provides a revolutionary solution for top e-commerce market places and e-commerce brands in Southeast Asia to boost their sales through different channels on social networks.

Empowered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), Ecomobi’s social selling platform can categorize and evaluate millions of products to make personalized recommendations to key opinion leaders (KOLs). Thus, KOLs can create customized posts and advertise suitable products on their social media channels. When buyers want to ask for products on KOLs’ social pages, an automatic chatbot will appear and provide buyers with detailed information. After that, orders are sent automatically to brands or merchants. This pioneering feature is helping KOLs sell products instantly with ease.
