Toyota Motor Vietnam (TMV) in cooperation with the National Traffic Safety Committee and the Ministry of Public Security is holding an awards ceremony for the National Traffic Safety Film Festival 2019, with the theme “No drunk driving”, at the Army Radio-Television Center on January 4.

“2017 was the first year TMV accompanied ministries and departments to organize the Traffic Safety Film Festival, with the theme ‘Building traffic culture among teenagers’, and received great attention from the public,” said Ms. Do Thu Hoang, Vice President of TMV. “Following that success, this year we continue to accompany the program. With the theme ‘No drunk driving’, we believe this is a practical topic and will again receive attention from the public.”

Organizers received 206 entries in three categories: reportage, science, and short clips, with a team of experienced experts working hard to select award recipients.

The Traffic Safety Film Festival 2019 has been held by the National Traffic Safety Committee since 1996. In its ten holdings, the program has attracted a lot of attention from and the participation of ministries, departments, the media, organizations, and individuals nationwide. Films in this year’s festival must clearly express the theme of “No drunk driving”, focusing on the reality of traffic laws and safety problems and traffic accidents caused by alcohol and the risks, consequences, and solutions.

The Film Festival is one of many annual social activities TMV is involved in, following its vision and deep awareness on the importance of business activities associated with sustainable development in society. TMV has continuously implemented activities in fields such as education and human resources development, social culture and environmental protection, and, in particular, traffic safety.
