National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines and low-cost carrier Jetstar Pacific jointly created a Cultural Space for Tet for the first time on January 27-28 at Ly Thai To Flower Garden in Hanoi, which is also part of a series of annual events held every two months by Vietnam Airlines and the Hanoi People’s Committee

With the theme “Vietnam Airlines-Spring Take-off”, the Cultural Space for Tet will provide a traditional festive atmosphere from the old days through decorations and cultural activities that depict Vietnam’s cultural identity.

The Space will feature a series of activities that used to take place during Tet in the old days, such as traditional folk music shows, folk games, calligraphy exhibitions, and so on.

There will also be a large LED screen at the park for people to watch the historic final of the U/23 Asia Cup, where Vietnam take on Uzbekistan at 3pm on January 27. This is the first time the team has reached the final of the tournament.

Vietnam Airlines and Jetstar Pacific will also give visitors the chance to become a flight attendant and receive consultation on working for the airlines. Promotions and lucky draws with attractive gifts are also on offer.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to buy tickets at a 25 per cent discount at the Vietnam Airlines booth and promotional tickets at VND11,000 ($0.4) for Jetstar Pacific domestic flights.

More than a special cultural event for Tet, “Vietnam Airlines-Spring Take-off” is also a wish for a happy and lucky new year from the two airlines, according to the organizing board. To become the two most modern and best airlines in the country and the region, Vietnam Airlines and Jetstar Pacific continue to strive to understand their customers and partner up with the local community to create sustainable values.
