The Happy Tet Fair 2018, presenting high-quality international and Vietnamese products, is being organized for the first time from January 31 to February 4 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 7.

Thousands of products will be available for Tet from both domestic and international enterprises from Japan, South Korea, Thailand, and Taiwan, such as food and beverages, dried fruit, handmade products, clothes, accessories, cosmetics, perfume, household items, home décor items, tour packages, and others. Discounts of 30-50 per cent will be offered.

The event will also include activities such as folk and sports games, fashion shows, photo booths, a food fair, and Goc Ong Do (a calligraphy corner), and will create a new entertainment and shopping venue for city dwellers and the expat community in the lead up to the Tet holidays.

With free entry, the fair is expected to attract more than 40,000 visitors and allow Vietnamese families, foreigners, and international tourists to experience in Tet in Vietnam.

Located in the heart of the Phu My Hung new urban area and just a ten-minute drive from the downtown area and 30 minutes from Tan Son Nhat International Airport, SECC is one of the largest and most modern facilities in the southern region. The Center is a joint effort between Saigontourist Holding Company, the country’s leading tourism services provider, with a 60 per cent stake, and the Phu My Hung Development Corporation.
