Taiwan Excellence once again joined the three-day Vietnam International Telecommunication Products, Services, Information Technology and Communications (Vietnam ICT COMM 2019) exhibition held last week at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 7, showcasing updated technologies during its third appearance at one of the biggest and most prestigious technology events in Vietnam.

Known as “Asia Silicon Valley” and with the world’s 10th most innovative and creative ecosystem, Taiwan is considered the hub of technological breakthroughs and was the first country to be listed in the Top 10 most innovative countries in the world. With that, Taiwan Excellence continued to reaffirm and enhance its presence in Vietnam, with 22 leading brands equipped with the latest technology attending this year’s ICT COMM.

Twenty-two leading Taiwanese brands brought Taiwan Excellence-awarded products from ICT-related sectors, such as mobile apps, technology solutions, wireless technology, internet services, service management, electronic products and services, services and broadcasting equipment, and network infrastructure.

More importantly, this year’s event saw a stronger presence of Taiwanese products in Smart Education and Smart Health Care, which are growing rapidly in many developed countries. Taiwan Excellence’s experiential zone also introduced new brands with outstanding technologies, including Gigo, LIVA, and Avision.

“We are living in an era when technology has become an indispensable part of society, and new technology breakthroughs are created every single day to better the lives of all people around the world,” said Mr. Wu Chun-Tse, Director of the Strategic Marketing Department at the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA).

“Vietnam ICT COMM is a wonderful opportunity for us to get closer to consumers and tech-lovers, bringing them the Taiwan Excellence image as a symbol of leading technology advancement. Taiwanese brands also got to exchange knowledge with other ICT players from around the world, in the hope of pushing the industry’s development and making the world a better place to live and where everyone can enjoy the convenience technology brings.”

Continuing the success of the first two holdings, the size of ICT COMM 2019 increased 30 per cent compared to last year, gathering around 10,000 visitors as well as 300 participating enterprises from many countries and territories around the world, such as Vietnam, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, the US, China, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Armenia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

After Vietnam ICT COMM 2019, Taiwan Excellence will participate in the Taiwan Expo, organized by TAITRA between August 8 and 10 this year.
