Accumulated domestic sales by the five members of the Vietnam Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers (VAMM) in the second half of 2016 reached 1,676,838 units, raising its total sales during the year to 3,121,023 units, a year-on-year increase of 9.5 per cent, VAMM announced on January 10.

VAMM’s five members are Honda Vietnam, Piaggio Vietnam, Vietnam Suzuki Corporation, SYM Vietnam, and Yamaha Motor Vietnam.

The five members provide the domestic market with a wide range of motorcycles, including cub, scooter and clutch types.
