Bosch Vietnam signed an MoU with the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee on September 26 in the field of training and developing highly-skilled workers towards Industry 4.0, as a part of its collaboration to advance the Industry 4.0 program in the southern province.

The MoU was signed by Bosch Vietnam, Drive and Control (Bosch Rexroth - a Division of Bosch Vietnam), the People’s Committee, and the Dong Nai Department of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs.

The partnership’s objectives are supporting vocational schools in Dong Nai with opportunities to approach Industry 4.0, therefore enabling them to acquire, master, and effectively operate technology in Industry 4.0. The parties will also facilitate close cooperation between vocational education institutions in the province and Bosch Rexroth, in the field of training and developing qualified human resources that meet the needs of businesses during Industry 4.0.

The partners will cooperate in key fields relating to education and training for Industry 4.0. It will provide training for teachers at vocational education institutions in the province, especially focusing on automation, mechatronics, pneumatics and hydraulics. Training activities will be held in Dong Nai province or abroad for advanced training (if necessary).

Bosch will also support vocational education institutions in Dong Nai to set up and adjust training programs to meet Industry 4.0’s requirements, then organize technical seminars to share updated knowledge about Industry 4.0.
