Global hotel operator the Radisson Hotel Group announced on August 19 the signing of a stylish, design-led beachfront property close to Hoi An ancient town on Vietnam’s central coast.

Developed by Indochina Hoi An Beach Villas Company Limited, a subsidiary of the Bamboo Capital Group, and designed by BAKH Architecture, Radisson Blu Hoi An will be nestled directly on the soft sands of Ha My Beach, just 8km from Hoi An’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed town center and 30 minutes’ drive from Da Nang International Airport.

“This also makes Hoi An a highly attractive destination for the Radisson Hotel Group,” said Mr. Ramzy Fenianos, Chief Development Officer, Asia Pacific. “Since the launch of our inaugural Radisson Blu hotel in Phu Quoc last year, our development team has been identifying opportunities for expansion in the country’s top destinations, and we are excited to continue expansion plans for our upper-upscale Radisson Blu concept to Vietnam’s central coast.”

“This forms part of our global development strategy, Destination 2022, through which we plan to double our global portfolio within five years, while also implementing new brand standards and elevating our guest experiences.”

“Vietnam’s central coast is fast becoming one of Asia’s most desirable destinations, and Hoi An offers visitors the perfect blend of cultural charm and beachfront bliss,” said Ms. Katerina Giannouka, President, Asia Pacific, at the Radisson Hotel Group. “Radisson Blu Hoi An will complement the area’s outstanding natural beauty with its eco-friendly design, which appears woven into the landscape. Radisson Blu’s signature intuitive service will ensure that guests can unwind in peace and serenity, while enjoying everything this captivating region has to offer.”

Infused with tropical touches, the elegant low-rise property will flow around a series of reflective pools, with wooden walkways and landscaped gardens. Comprising 734 rooms, suites and villas, it will be the largest property in the company’s Asia-Pacific portfolio.

Guests will be able to soak up the seafront ambience with extensive facilities, including a water sports and recreation center, several swimming pools, a spa, a fitness center, a kids’ club, and a rooftop garden. Radisson Blu Hoi An will also offer a choice of three restaurants serving authentic local and international cuisine, plus a lobby lounge and pool bar.

The property will become a new hub for destination weddings and events, with a bright ballroom, state-of-the-art meeting facilities, and a private beach for alfresco occasions. Every stay will be underpinned by Radisson Blu’s signature “Yes I Can” service philosophy, creating meaningful and memorable guest experiences.

“We are extremely pleased to partner with the Radisson Hotel Group on this impressive project under the Radisson Blu brand,” said Mr. Nguyen Ho Nam, Chairman of the Bamboo Capital Group. “They have a proven reputation for providing exceptional service as a global hospitality company that exceeds guests’ expectations. We are very enthusiastic about this new venture, as part of our company’s ongoing expansion in the real estate sector.”

Vietnam is a key focus market for the Radisson Hotel Group, and Radisson Blu Hoi An becomes the company’s fourth property in this dynamic Southeast Asian country, following Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc, Radisson Blu Resort Cam Ranh, and Radisson Resort Phu Quoc Long Beach.
