The five-star Meliá Ho Tram Beach Resort has introduced a package to reconnect families, rolling out recreational pursuits ranging from lantern-making and conical hat painting to pool parties, an outdoor cinema, and a “Family Olympics”.

The “Family Forever” getaway is on offer at the resort’s two-, three-, and four-bedroom villas, called The Level Villas and ranging in size from 220 sq m to 465 sq m, with their own private pool, BBQ area, outdoor shower and gardens, living area, and separate dining area. The package is available for a minimum stay of two days, one night.

“‘Family Forever’ is inspired by the simple yet significant premise of disconnecting from technology and the stress of daily life to reconnect together as a family,” said the resort’s General Manager Manuel Ferriol.

With their own private pool, the resort’s 61 The Level Villas lend themselves to private seafood BBQs, pool parties, and floating breakfasts. Other experiences on offer at the villas include house parties with live music or a DJ, picnics in the garden, a private set menu dinner, and cooking and mixology classes. The Level Villa’s three- and four-bedroom villas directly front the beach and provide access to a lounge and other private areas such as a pool and breakfast overlooking the beach at Breeza Beach Club, and benefits including complimentary cocktail time and a pillow menu.

The broad spectrum of daily activities ranges from those that tap into Vietnamese culture, including crafting traditional lanterns and painting conical hats, to outdoor pursuits such as paddle board lessons, kayaking, cycling, and basic tennis lessons.

In addition to YHi Spa’s massages, facials and body scrubs, wellness pursuits offered by the resort include aquarobics, Tabata, Zumba, sunrise yoga, tai chi, and stretching.

The games in the “Family Olympics” range from beach volleyball, beach football, and kayaking to chess and jenga.

The outdoor cinema screens movies for all ages. Complete with a blue and white ball pit and playground, the wealth of activities at the resort’s kids’ club include kids’ yoga, hair styling, and hula hooping.

The resort offers boat, bike, and seafood wet market tours, as well as fishing and hiking, and visits to Binh Chau hot springs and mud bath, nearby Vung Tau city, and the historical sites Long Tan and Long Phuoc. Such excursions afford exploration of Ho Tram and allow families to connect with, and better understand, the local culture and people.

Meliá Ho Tram Beach Resort is also within easy reach of The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip, a links style 18-hole championship golf course designed by golfing legend Greg Norman. The resort and golf course have joined forces to offer a “Stay and Play” package that includes one round of golf, accommodation in a Deluxe Room, and a daily cocktail at Breeza Beach Club.
