28th Vietnam International Trade Fair being held in Hanoi from April 11 to 14.

Twenty-three countries and territories are taking part in the 28th Vietnam International Trade Fair from April 11 to 14 at the International Exhibition Center Hanoi (ICE), 91 Tran Hung Dao St., Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi. This year’s fair is entitled “Vietnam Expo - Enhancing Regional and International Economic Integration”.

The fair features more 500 booths of 450 enterprises from the 23 countries and territories, including Egypt, Cambodia, Cuba, Taiwan (China), South Korea, Hong Kong (China), Laos, Russia, Mongolia, Nepal, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, and China. National pavilions include those from the Russian Federation, Cuba, South Korea, Nepal, China, and Vietnam.

Products on display are in fields such as machinery and equipment; construction and building materials; electricity, electronics and information technology; food and beverages; agriculture; appliances; and healthcare products and services.

Enterprises include strong major brands, startups, and regional agriculture enterprises such as the Hapro Trading Corporation, the Binh Minh Plastics JSC, the Duy Tan Plastic JSC, the Dien Quang Lamp JSC, TCT Paper, TCC Tea, and OPC Pharmaceuticals.

The Vietnam Investment Promotion and Industrial Development Pavilion has been set up by the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency to provide up-to-date information on the country’s investment environment. It will also introduce investment attraction policies, commitments from local authorities, and investment opportunities in six cities and provinces: Hanoi, Hai Phong, Yen Bai, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa and Dong Thap.

Russia is attending the fair as an “honored guest”. Its enterprises are presenting products from major industries such as aviation technology; mining machinery; railway systems; precision engineering; automation equipment; and biotechnology.

This year’s fair marks 20 years of participation by South Korea, with 150 booths from 132 enterprises.

The Organizing Committee expects the fair to contribute to mutually beneficial economic cooperation between Vietnam and its international partners.
