VTC Digital and Voice of Vietnam (VOV) officially launched the VTC Now multimedia content distribution system on April 24 in Hanoi

VTC Now distributes content across popular digital platforms, including Android, iOS, AndroidTV, Tizen, WebOS, and the Web.

It offers a wealth of content with a sophisticated combination of modern content trends from VTC and the trust and traditional programming of VOV and is oriented towards meeting demand for watching, reading, listening, and interaction.

In addition to broadcasting dozens of TV and radio channels, the differentiators for VTC Now are its ability to update multi-format news and breaking news throughout the day, broadcast attractive TV and radio shows and music, reproduce books from many generations, publish guidebooks, and broadcast dozens of exclusive shows online produced by VTC.

Audiences, listeners, and readers also enjoy weather updates, traffic, health, and education news, and a range of shopping and payment options.

VTC Now was developed by VTC engineers based on Accedo’s technology and used Brightcove’s cloud platform, the Content Delivery Network (CDN) system of world leading CDN supplier Akamai, and solutions from many famous technology companies such as Ateme, Cleeng, and Avenia.

Mr. Nguyen Kim Trung, General Director of VTC, said VTC Now is a new beginning in approaching the trend of multimedia communications based on smartphones and TVs and opens up opportunities to spread content from TV and radio to the public in Vietnam and abroad.

Mr. Nguyen The Ky, General Director of VOV, said that VTC Now is a big step for VOV in general and for VTC in particular, meeting requirements in the digital era. “Everyone felt there was a lack of information and VTC Now has been born to meet the needs of TV watchers, listeners, and readers,” he said.
