ENTERPRISE Asia, Asia’s leading non-government organization for responsible entrepreneurship, announced that its annual International CSR Summit will be held in Manila on June 1.

To be held for the fourth time, the International CSR Summit 2018 (ICS 2018) will bring together 300 corporate social responsibility (CSR) thought leaders and practitioners from across Asia to catalyze inclusive growth and define change.

Themed “Building A Shared Future”, the ICS 2018 focuses on business organizations leading “Transformational Change” to combat urgent issues threatening people and the planet and reach a “Shared Future”.

As small sustainable impacts are no longer enough, the summit will prepare businesses to deliver real impact and solutions to meet the Sustainable Development Goals and identify areas of their business that require transformational change.

The summit will feature a full suite of CSR experts and practitioners who have spearheaded some of the more remarkable CSR initiatives in the region.

In conjunction with ICS 2018, the Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards 2018 (Area 2018), Asia’s most prestigious and largest recognition program, will be held at a Gala Dinner at the Manila Marriott Hotel.

Over 200 nominations have come from 23 countries and markets in Asia, including Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, UAE, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

Area 2018 recognizes leading CSR practices in the following categories: Social Empowerment, Investment in People, Health Promotion, Green Leadership, Corporate Governance, SME CSR, and Responsible Business Leadership.

Area has been recognizing and honoring the leading and most sustainable CSR initiatives in Asia for the last ten years. All award recipients have designed and executed effective CSR programs embedding sustainability into their core initiatives.
