The Homecare Property Management Service Trading Co. (Homecare) has been selected by Japan’s Cavitech Building Community Co. (Cavitech) as the exclusive distributor in Vietnam of Cavitader - a treatment system for wastewater and septic tanks.

Under the contract signed on April 13, Cavitech’s experts will provide support to Homecare’s technical team on the system’s installation, operation, and maintenance.

Cavitader improves the function of wastewater tanks and the quality of post-handled wastewater while dealing with unpleasant odors escaping from the tanks without the use of any chemicals. The system has been installed in notable works in Japan, including JR-East Railway, the NHK Broadcast building, the Opera City Tower, and Tokyo Metro.

According to Mr. Hiroyuki Ogawa, an Advisor at Cavitech and Managing Director of the Japan - Vietnam Association, a recent project conducted by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry at certain hospitals, a primary school, and a bus station in Hanoi showed that there is a thick layer of solid rubbish and mud that occupies one-third or even half of septic tanks.

This degrades their performance. “Cavitader has been test-installed and brought positive results after a short period of time,” he said.

Solving problems in wastewater and septic tanks is always a headache for building operators due to the high cost and low effectiveness, according to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung, General Manager of Homecare and Vice President of the Vietnam Building Management & Maintenance Association.

In condominium projects, hotels, office buildings, bus stations, and industrial parks with relatively large numbers of toilet users, wastewater and septic tanks can become full quite easily.

“I was impressed with the results of Cavitader in its test installation at My Dinh Bus Station from last September to now,” Mr. Hung added. “I hope the system will be a solution for wastewater and septic tank problems in Vietnam in the future, contributing to improving people’s quality of life.”

With 13 years of operations and development in the building management sector, Homecare provides management services for a range of projects in Hanoi, including Golden West (Thanh Xuan district), the Hong Ha Center (Hoan Kiem district), Dolphin Plaza (Nam Tu Liem district), and My Dinh Bus Station, among others.
