Enhancements to provide Grab users with even more value and convenience.

Super app Grab has announced enhancements to its GrabRewards program to provide Grab users with more value and convenience.

The enhancements will allow users to earn more GrabRewards points and perks through in-app Challenges and will enable them to keep their GrabRewards points from expiring. Accumulated points can be used to redeem from an expanded catalogue of attractive products and services.

Mr. Jerry Lim, Country Head, Vietnam, said the new in-app Challenges is designed to encourage more interactions from users so they will enjoy benefits that go beyond the actual amount they spend on Grab’s services and also gain a better understanding of Grab’s various services and the convenience the services bring to their daily lives. “The revamped GrabRewards program is created with customers’ feedback in mind,” he added. “We want to enhance this experience further - beyond points, rewards and benefits - and make it more fun and engaging. We will continue to explore different ways to introduce more exclusive experiences on GrabRewards for our users.”

Effective from July 1, Grab’s enhanced new GrabRewards program features new initiatives such as Fun Challenges for more rewards and bonuses, non-expiring GrabRewards points, and new attractive products and services for redemption.

GrabRewards rewards users for everyday transactions, earning points across all Grab services, including transport, delivery (food and parcel), cashless payments, and more.

With four distinct levels - Member, Silver, Gold and Platinum - users can progress up the membership tiers by using the Grab app daily and then enjoy more entitlements, including accelerated earning of points, discount rewards, monthly vouchers, and priority allocation.

The Grab app has been downloaded onto over 152 million mobile devices, giving users access to over 9 million drivers, merchants and agents. Grab has the region’s largest land transportation fleet and has completed over 3 billion rides since its founding in 2012. It offers the widest range of on-demand transport services in the region, in addition to food and package delivery services, across 336 cities in eight countries and territories.
