Five months after the groundbreaking of the Kahuna Ho Tram Strip project, its developer, the Ho Tram Project Company, will hold a sales event called “Surf the Kahuna Wave to Prosperity” on May 20 at the Meliá Hanoi Hotel. It will be introducing its condotels and villas to Hanoi’s real estate market for the first time.

Located just under two hours from Ho Chi Minh City on a 2.2 km private beach in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, Kahuna Ho Tram Strip is a 244 condotel and villa development comprised of 164 condotel units housed in a 12-storey tower, 36 double-key villas and eight beach front villas, all available for long term lease.

The project was developed by the team behind the multi-award winning 541-room Grand Ho Tram Strip resort and casino and the Greg Norman-designed Bluffs Ho Tram Strip, which has been recognized as the nation’s finest course. They are also currently building Gallery Villas residential complex, which adorns the links-style course.

The Ho Tram Project Company is currently working on the interior fit out of its second resort, the 559-room Beach Club, located on the site between The Grand and The Kahuna.

Kahuna investors have the opportunity to share in all of the excitement and entertainment that has made the Ho Tram Strip one of Vietnam’s most popular getaways. This includes the monthly Ho Tram Sound Waves show which features the country’s hottest talent. The development also includes 13 restaurants and bars and countless entertainment opportunities encompassing everything from mini-golf to nightclubs.

With prices ranging between VND2 billion ($88,000) for a condotel unit to VND7.9 billion ($347,000) for a villa, investors are guaranteed an 8 per cent return on the net sale price for the first two years and 9 per cent for the following two. From the fifth year onward, investors will receive 60 per cent of the net rental revenue according to the rental pool agreement. Investors will also receive 21 nights of free occupancy per year in their condo or villa.

The company is in active discussions with leading international group Wyndham to operate Kahuna Ho Tram Strip, and is also planning to develop a private, international airport located just 15km from the site to improve access for international visitors to the Ho Tram Strip.

Work commenced in March 2018 with piling now complete on the condotel building. Soon we will see Kahuna surrounded by a waterpark, a health center, an amphitheater and a host of other world-class entertainment amenities.

The project will be completed and brought into operation in 2019.
