South Korean beauty care brand Yakson Beauty officially opened its first outlet in Ho Chi Minh City, on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street in District 3, on January 6, following the success of the beauty salon chain in Hanoi. This is its sixth center in Vietnam and the first in the south.

A joint venture between Vietnam’s Egroup and South Korea’s Myungga Group and using Golki therapy, the chain has won over local customers, with its five centers in Hanoi attracting more than 50,000 customers and celebrities.

“We are confident that Yakson Beauty will create new and safe beauty habits in the south with a health-centered focus to retain long-lasting natural beauty,” Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thuy, Chairman of Egroup, told the opening ceremony. “We also believe that anyone who has had a full experience with Yakson and Golki will be convinced and fully understand the natural beauty concept.”

“Yakson Beauty will be a reliable beauty care destination for women not only in Ho Chi Minh City but also surrounding areas in the south,” said Ms. Vu My Lan, CEO of Egroup and Yakson Beauty. “Similar to Hanoi, we also aim to expand our beauty chain in the potential market of the southern city to meet customer demand.”

Yakson Myungga’s President Lee Byung-Chul said Vietnam holds high growth potential. The company is now present in eight countries: South Korea, the US, Japan, Canada, China, Singapore, the Philippines, and Vietnam.

The opening ceremony featured three contestants from Miss Korea 2017: winner Seo Jae Won and runners-up Lee Han Na and Jung Dah Hee, who are all loyal customers of Yakson Beauty Korea and participate in events to spread the natural beauty care offered by Yakson Beauty to customers around the world.

Originating from traditional Korean beauty methods, Mr. Lee Byung Chul, Founder and President of Yakson Myungga Korea, has grown and developed the brand since 1979. Golki has become the most popular natural beauty treatment in South Korea and has been well received in many developed countries, with more than 120 centers open around the world.

With the ability to shape the face and the body by hands only, Golki has put Yakson Beauty among the world’s leading cosmetic surgery systems in the field of natural beauty. After appearing in Vietnam in mid-2017, Yakson Beauty has opened five centers in Hanoi in the six months since.

Yakson means “mother’s hand” in Korean. It is a chain of non-invasive cosmetic surgery clinics, leading the beauty industry in Asia and proud to be the first aesthetic institute established under an agreement between Egroup and Yakson Myungga in Vietnam.
