UNIQLO Vietnam to open first Hanoi store in the spring

Spring opening comes on the heels of Japanese retailer's arrival in Vietnam in opening HCMC store early this month.

Japanese global apparel retailer UNIQLO has announced it will open its first store in Hanoi during the spring season of 2020.

This first store in the capital follows the successful launch of the brand in Vietnam through the opening of the UNIQLO Dong Khoi store in Ho Chi Minh City on December 6.

“Following a wonderful reception from customers in Ho Chi Minh City, we look forward to bringing UNIQLO and our LifeWear to fans in Hanoi,” said Mr. Osamu Ikezoe, General Director and COO of UNIQLO Vietnam. “LifeWear is our commitment to creating perfect clothing that meets the needs of everyone’s daily lifestyles, and we believe it will enrich the lives of our customers here.”

The company set to begin recruitment efforts ahead of the first store in the city, and has updated detailed information on sales positions.

UNIQLO Dong Khoi offers a customized in-store experience that reflects the lives and requirements of local people. Spanning three levels over 3,000 sq m of sales floor area, the store seamlessly combines Vietnamese creativity with UNIQLO’s retail innovations to deliver the ultimate shopping experience.
