VietMac rice burgers are now available at 300 out of 600 Vinmart + chains, Vingroup’s leading retail brand.

Mrs. Ngo Thi Kim Thanh, General Director of VietMac Food JSC said, “Joining large distribution systems means that the manufacturer has to give up the small production method, which means that VietMac needs to develop a business plan for the next ten years if we don’t want to be removed from the market soon.”

Mr. Doan Quoc Tien, Deputy General Director of A & T Investment and Trading JSC, commented, “Vietmac's rice burger is suitable for many customers who don't have much time before the check-in procedures. It's considered to meet the strict quality and safety standards of food safety management agencies here. The product also has nice packaging which should create a good impression on the customers.”

Since March 2018, VietMac has been cooperating with A & T Investment and Trading JSC to distribute their products exclusively in the Memos restaurant chain which has five stores at T1 domestic departure terminal and T2 international departure terminal of Noi Bai Airport.

After two years of operations, VietMac invited leading experts in the field of food production to consult and invest in the rebuilding of factories, production lines, and equipment in order to maximize operating capacity and meet market demands.

The company's workshop system was granted the ISO 22000:2005 quality management certification by an international organization on food safety and hygiene in September 2017.

All of them are in the first phase of developing a roadmap for VietMac to supply the domestic market with clean and good products. Their aim is to have VietMac products in the refrigerator of every house.

Sharing about their future plans, Mrs. Thanh said, "From a producer's perspective, in the processed food market, to increasingly assert the product's position is the most important task. How to increase consumption in large distribution systems is a big challenge for us. In addition to maintaining quality, we plan to build the standard material area that meets the demand of types, quantity, and quality to take the initiative in production and business.”

In the first quarter of 2018, VietMac successfully signed a cooperation contract with investors from Japan. In the future, with the support of foreign experts, VietMac plans to develop products with a Japanese influence and ensure convenience and clean standards. This is also the premise for VietMac to expand its market share to the international market during the next phase.

VietMac started with two main products, the VietMac Rice Burger and the VietMac Sticky Rice Burger. The main ingredient is rice, one of Asia's most popular foods. VietMac is a perfect combination of two delicious rice cakes over vegetables and chicken, beef or BBQ grilled pork in the middle with sauce specially prepared by VietMac chefs. The prices of their products range from VND12,000 ($0.5) to VND34,000 ($1.45).

VietMac’s products are available at Vinmart +, Shop and Go, Family Mart, Cafe, Fivimart, Aeon, Seika Mart, Minh Hoa Mart, among other places in Hanoi.
