The TCC Group from Thailand is interested in exporting Vietnamese beer overseas.

“We want to send Vietnamese beer brands to international markets,” Mr. Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi, Chairman of the TCC Group, said during his meeting with Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on June 18.

He hopes the Vietnamese Government will facilitate the Group’s investment and business activities in Vietnam, including the export of Vietnamese goods to Thailand.

In response, Prime Minister Phuc said that TCC has recorded promising business results in Vietnam and he highly appreciates the fact is has paid taxes of $100 million in the country.

He wants the Group to act as an example to foreign investors in strictly abiding by tax regulations, in particular regarding transfer pricing and tax evasion.

He also expects that TCC will support Vietnamese in the consumption of agricultural products, to keep prices at reasonable levels for farmers.

Thanking the Prime Minister, Mr. Sirivadhanabhakdi said the Group is determined to develop and expand its retail market share and this will help it export Vietnamese products to Thailand, including agricultural products. The Group has established a specialized export department in Vietnam, he added.

Prime Minister said the government will ensure business freedom and create favorable conditions for investors, including the TCC Group, in a spirit of mutual benefit.
