Starbucks Vietnam has introduced a range of exclusive new designs celebrating Vietnamese culture, including a Vietnam Coffee Filter, a Vietnam Been There Collection Mug, and a Vietnam Starbucks Card.

The Vietnam collection has been available at all stores since January 3, along with new limited-time offerings for winter.

Inspired by Vietnam’s coffee culture, the Vietnam Coffee Filter, also called a “Phin”, is a reimagination of a traditional “Phin” refined in both design and function. The Been There Collection highlights Vietnam’s iconic images, while the design of the exclusive Vietnam Starbucks Card features the charming beauty of the country’s national flower, the lotus.

The Vietnam Gift set, meanwhile, contains these new designs and is also a wonderful way to send greetings to loved ones at Tet.

“February marks seven years in Vietnam for Starbucks,” said General Manager Ms. Patricia Marques. “It has been a great journey for us with many achievements throughout the years. Starting from our first store in Ho Chi Minh City, we have now expanded to three other cities and will continue to grow in more areas. From the first collection to feature Vietnamese icons, we now have many more collections featuring other cities such as Hanoi, Hai Phong, and Da Nang. In 2015, for the first time, we served Vietnam’s Da Lat coffee in Starbucks stores around the world. And now, in 2020, we introduce the Vietnam ‘Phin’ in all of our stores in Vietnam. And for collectors of the Starbucks Card, we have the exclusive Vietnam Starbucks Card. We will not stop with innovation to bring a better experience to customers.”

February marks the seventh anniversary of Starbucks® in Vietnam, with 61 stores.

Continuing the global commitment of Starbucks to eliminate single-use plastic straws at all stores by the end of 2020, Starbucks Vietnam has announced it will gradually remove them in Vietnam and began providing paper straws to customers starting this month. The new paper straws are made from responsibly-sourced paper certified by the Forest Stewardship Council ® (FSC).
