Largest machinery exhibition running from October 4 to 7 in HCMC.

The 18th Vietnam International Plastics and Rubber Industry Exhibition (VietnamPlas) is being held from October 4 to 7 at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 7, co-organized by the Vietnam Plastics Association (VPA with endorsements from the Vietnam Rubber Association (VRA), the Rubber Plastic Manufacturers Association (RPMA), and other industry associations. VietnamPlas 2018 is well-equipped to bring in substantial business opportunities for participating exhibitors and trade visitors

Gathering the world’s leading plastics machinery manufacturers

The exhibition allows leading suppliers from over 15 countries and regions around the world to showcase their best manufacturing solutions for the domestic market. For instance, WAPS has brought its tailor-made polymer and BS-III series injection molding machine with high versatility and energy efficiency, while globally-recognized plastic recycling machine manufacturer Polystar is presenting not only its signature recycling machine but also blown film machines and bag making machines.

Bimetal will showcase its high-quality extruders, screw barrels and complete technical support for their customers, and LS Mtron has its compact hybrid injection molding machine with servo energy saving and high injecting technology. Leading world brands in plastics machinery will also be in attendance, ready to help local manufacturers step up their production game.

Support from world-wide industry councils

In its 17 years, VietnamPlas has earned a reputation among industry professionals around the world. International associations such as the Korea Plastics Processing Machine Industry Cooperative (KPPMIC), the Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry (TAMI), the Taiwan Mold & Die Industry Association (TMDIA), and the Taiwan Plastics Industry Association (TTPIA) have brought top brands to VietnamPlas, which gathers the most advanced technologies and the most investment-oriented visitors in Southeast Asia. The trade show will see over 520 international brands exhibited on more than 18,000 sq m, where visitors can seek the best production solutions for their manufacturing plants.

Other industry councils such as the Vietnam Association of Mechanical Industry (VAMI), the HCMC Automation Association (HAuA), the HCMC Association of Mechanical - Electrical Enterprises (HAMEE), and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) have expressed their full support for the exhibition, making VietnamPlas the go-to trade show for sourcing and upgrading manufacturing facilities.

Workshop on industry insights

An in-depth industry workshop will be held on the first day of the trade show and tell Vietnamese enterprises how to stand on the brink of technological innovation. The first section will consist of an overview of Vietnam’s plastics sector, including the industry’s current status, potential and prospects. The second section will be a discussion between audience members and speakers, focusing on key issues the industry currently faces. The workshop is designed for not only people from the industry but also investors looking to invest in the sector.
