The 12th International Exhibition on Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning and Purification and Refrigeration Systems in Vietnam (HVACR Vietnam), the only focused and most established international industrial exhibition in the country, held its first exhibition in Hanoi on April 18 after eleven previous editions in Ho Chi Minh City.

The exhibition is the ideal venue for international manufacturers and suppliers to launch new products, reach out to buyers, appoint agents and distributors, build brand awareness, and establish business networks in Vietnam’s booming economy.

To cater to local market demand, the organizers will now rotate the exhibition between the two cities, with Hanoi hosting it in even years and Ho Chi Minh City in odd years.

Over 2,000 visitors pre-registered to visit the show at the National Exhibition Construction Center (NECC), with 250 pre-qualified buyers ready to meet the exhibitions and more than 500 meetings lined up.

For the first edition in Hanoi, more than 200 brands and companies will be present.

The success of HVACR Vietnam 2018 is due to the support of many partners and organizations, such as the Asia Air Movement and Control Association Pte Ltd, the International Institute of Refrigeration, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Singapore Green Building Council, and others.

This year, apart from strong participation by local exhibitors, the event will also welcome international exhibitors from countries such as China, India, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, and the US.

There will also be international pavilions from China, South Korea, and Taiwan, with the Korea Building Energy Management System Association (KBEMSA) and the Taiwan Metal Industry Association (TMIA) being two international groups to attend.

In line with shifting industry trends towards energy efficiency and sustainable products and measures, HVACR Vietnam 2018 has introduced green building and energy efficiency elements into the exhibition, featuring collaborations with industry experts and professional seminars on green HVACR technologies and systems.

Throughout the three-day exhibition, a series of complimentary HVACR and Green Building seminars and technical talks will be held, hosted by HVACR Vietnam organizers as well as its partner the Vietnam Green Building Council (VGBC).

“We strive to inject fresh and exciting elements into each edition of HVACR Vietnam, so both our exhibitors and visitors walk away empowered with new ideas, contacts, and resources,” said Mr. Jack Wei, General Manager of Informa Global Exhibitions (Asia). “This year, we are honored to welcome old friends and new ones to our new exhibition venue in Hanoi as well as work with VGBC in being the bridge to lead the HVACR industry in the new global trend of green building and energy efficiency.”
