Hanoi Beer Alcohol and Beverage Corp. yet again recognized for the popularity of its products in the local market.
The Hanoi Beer Alcohol and Beverage Corp. (Habeco) won a Vietnamese Excellent Brand Award on April 8, affirming its position as the cultural beer producer of Vietnam and as the trusted beer brand for every Vietnamese.
With food safety management and strict control over procedures in production, Habeco’s products have maintained stable growth amid fierce and increasing competition.
Hanoians have always had a love for the “Hanoi Beer” brand. With a long history, Hanoi Beer is proud to always be among the best-selling products in the market, representing the beverage culture of the capital.
Habeco has also won many important awards and titles, including a National Brand Award, a Vietnamese Excellent Brand Award, a Vietnam Gold Star Award, a Trusted Brand Award, a Vietnamese High-Quality Goods Award, and a Vietnamese Brand Award, and been recognized as a Hanoi Flagship Product.
It has held multiple programs and events to pay tribute to customers, such as beer festivals in Hanoi and in provinces, musical shows, marketing campaigns in the media, and product exhibitions at restaurants and supermarkets.
Habeco’s beer brands, including Hanoi Beer, Truc Bach, and Hanoi Premium, have not only affirmed its name within the domestic market but also at international markets, such as Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, France, the US, and Australia, among others.
Other than manufacturing, Habeco has also paid much attention to corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities, like taking care of 25 Vietnamese heroic mothers, helping families under its preferential treatment policy, and supporting Agent Orange funds, funds for poor people, and flood victims. In 2016, it spent a total of VND7.8 billion ($343,200) on its CSR activities.
It is not too hard to understand why Habeco has accomplished so much. Over the past 60 years, one of the secrets to Habeco’s success is that it has always put food safety above everything else.
Habeco has continued making investments to upgrade the production chain, having adequate facilities and creating a green environment in the production area.
Its breweries were built with supply chains having modern technology in accordance with international standards. Compliance with food safety regulations starts right at the importation of ingredients, and its safety board continuously checks water quality and packaging systems.
It maintains quality management systems for products in accordance with international standards such as ISO:9000:2008; ISO:14001:2005, and HACCP in food production, actively researching solutions to meet environmental standards.
Habeco also started a movement to encourage creativity and technical innovation within production units. As a result, many technical solutions have been applied and saved billions of VND. This is an annual activity, where staff receive bonuses for creative ideas. This is to enhance the movement of creative research and has attracted lots of attention from workers, bringing Habeco closer to the development trends of both domestic and international companies.
Affiliates of Habeco have also introduced solutions to reduce indirect costs, strictly assess the prices of inputs, and reduce inventories. The corporation has also actively cooperated with and supported State authorities in handling counterfeit products in the market.
