Hennes & Mauritz AB (H&M) Vietnam will celebrate its first birthday on September 9 by opening two new stores in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.

The new stores will be located at the Vincom Center Nguyen Chi Thanh in Hanoi and Crescent Mall in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 7. Both will be opened on the same day, September 8, bringing the total number of H&M stores in Vietnam to six, with three each in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Fredrik Famm, Country Manager for H&M in South East Asia, said it is been a wonderful year for H&M in Vietnam and they are really thankful for the welcome and support that Vietnam has extended to them. “Young and thriving, Vietnam has significantly contributed to the overall growth of H&M in Southeast Asia,” he said. “This double opening is just one of many ways for us to say ‘Thank you, Vietnam’. We can’t wait to bring fashion and quality at the best price in a sustainable way to more and more Vietnamese.”

Besides the two new openings, customers can also join in the celebrations by participating in different activities at stores as well as on social media. H&M Vietnam will be giving special offers to customers when shopping at both existing and newly-opened stores from September 6 to September 9.

H&M recently opened it second store in Hanoi, on 2,000 sq m in Vincom Mega Mall Times City, offering the latest summer items, and will host the upcoming H&M x GP & J Baker collection. It is open from 9.30am until 10 pm.

H&M was founded in Sweden in 1947 and is quoted on Nasdaq Stockholm. Its business idea is to offer fashion and quality at the best price in a sustainable way. In addition to H&M, the group includes the brands COS, Monki, Weekday, Cheap Monday, & Other Stories, H&M Home and ARKET as well as Afound.
