Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) has announced it will officially open its second Vietnam store, in Hanoi on November 11, two months after opening its first, in Ho Chi Minh City.

The new outlet will be at the Vincom Mega Mall Royal City Hanoi, with a diverse range of products suitable for all.

Items on offer include women’s, men’s, and children’s suits, shoes, accessories, underwear and, especially, a festive season collection - one of its global collections that is always welcome.

While preferring not to disclose any specific business results for the Ho Chi Minh City store in its first two months, Mr. Fredrik Famm, Country Manager of H&M in Southeast Asia, said the brand is constantly hunting new locations to open more stores.

The Ho Chi Minh City store opened on September 9 at the Vincom Center Dong Khoi in District 1, on 2,000 sq m with two levels and presenting a selection of the latest fashion and accessories for men, women, teenagers and kids, including H&M Studio AW’17 womenswear. More than 4,000 people queued up for the grand opening.

Vietnam is one of five new markets for H&M in 2017, which also marks its 70th year of bringing fashion and quality at the best price in a sustainable way to customers worldwide.

International brand names have begun to attract the attention of Ho Chi Minh City’s fashion lovers in recent times, clearing the way for more to arrive in the country.

More than 50 well-known brand names are now in Ho Chi Minh City, such as Giordano, Mango, Zara, Topshop, Gap, and Old Navy.

Others, including Pull&Bear, Uniqlo, and F21, will arrive in Vietnam this year, opening stores in shopping centers in Hanoi.
