Ride-hailing app FastGo has officially launched its airport ride service and FastRent car rental service in Hanoi.

The airport ride service will be available at fixed locations around Hanoi from only VND99,000 ($4.25). Guests heading out to Noi Bai International Airport can book a ride 90 minutes in advance via the FastGo app.

Customers must get themselves to FastGo’s waiting places, which are evenly distributed around Hanoi with the goal of each person being no less than 1 km away. FastGo is piloting eleven places and is expected to introduce 100 next year. The list will be constantly be updated on the FastGo app, including major sites such as the Hanoi Opera House, Times City, and Royal City.

The FastRent service, meanwhile, is the optimal choice for guests driving around town. Luxury cars such as Audi and Camry are included on its car rental list.

A representative of FastGo said it hopes to bring a new solution to customers going to the airport with the best price, while customers will be more comfortable with the FastRent service.

Founded last June, the NextTech Group’s FastGo Vietnam has grown rapidly, staking out a presence in seven cities and provinces throughout the country within the first six months of launch, with four-wheel ride-hailing services including FastCar, JustGo, and FastTaxi.

It currently operates in four cities - Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Nha Trang. It marked a step towards the international market in launching services in Myanmar on December 28, 2018, and aims to be in the Top 2 in Southeast Asia in the near future.

Beyond ride-hailing, it is also an app for a variety of other services, including home delivery, home care, and personal finance. The app is available at the App Store and Google Store.

FastGo provides stable incomes to more than 40,000 drivers, high reward points, a Fast Protection insurance policy, and study encouragement programs for their children. It does not charge a percentage fee on drivers.

VinFast and FastGo Vietnam signed a cooperation agreement on August 15 to add 1,500 Fadil motor cars to the latter’s ride-hailing taxi service. FastGo begun its FastBike Pro service in Hanoi last January. It tested FastBike Pro since August 2018, with the difference being a greater focus on professional two-wheeler services, as drivers must undergo a rigorous recruitment process, assessing their ethics and attitudes and ability to ride a high-end motorbike.
