Digiworld surpasses 2018 plans after 11 months

Revenue and profit exceed annual plans by 16 per cent and 2 per cent, respectively.

Vietnamese electronics and FMCG distributor the Digiworld Corporation has reported its projected business results for the first eleven months of 2018.

Total revenue was $234.57 million, or 116 per cent of the annual plan. After-tax profit reached $4.43 million, or 102 per cent of the annual plan.

Thus, in the first eleven months the company exceeded revenue and profit targets for the year as a whole.

Projected revenue for laptops and tablets was $95.29 million, or 96 per cent of the plan, mobile phones $93.04 million, or 181 per cent, office equipment $43.64 million, or 102 per cent, and consumer goods $2.58 million, or 30 per cent.

Laptops and mobile phones previously accounted for the majority but office equipment is now growing strongly and steadily. Projected revenue reached an all-time record of $43.64 million in the first eleven months, exceeding the yearly plan of $42.95 million.

Digiworld recently announced an official strategic partnership with HMD Global, the exclusive distributor of Nokia smartphones and tablets, to bolster the development of Nokia products in the country.

Digiworld is currently selected by 30 world-famous technology brands as a service provider and official distributor in Vietnam, with a distribution network of around 16,000 outlets nationwide.

Last year it launched new product categories including healthcare and FMCG.
