Vietnam Airlines has officially launched flights between Nha Trang and the South Korean capital of Seoul to meet the needs of the market, create conditions for passengers from the coastal city of Nha Trang and neighboring provinces to experience travel and explore the unique culture of South Korea, and deploy cooperation agreements for trade promotion, tourism and aviation between Vietnam Airlines and the Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee.

Mr. Luu Anh Tuan, Chief Representative of Vietnam Airlines’ branch in South Korea, told the opening ceremony that Vietnam Airlines began conducting flights to South Korea in 1993, between Ho Chi Minh City and Seoul. “More than 20 years later, with the rapid development in the relationship between South Korea and Vietnam, Vietnam Airlines has continuously expanded its flight network to meet increasing demand between the two countries,” he said. “Nha Trang is the fourth city in Vietnam, joining Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang, with direct flights operated by Vietnam Airlines to Seoul. The launch of the Nha Trang-Seoul route puts the total number of weekly flights between South Korea and Vietnam to 53.”

The Nha Trang - Seoul route has four flights a week on Airbus A321 aircraft with four-star international services.

Flights depart from Cam Ranh International Airport at 9.35pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and from Incheon International Airport at 6.20am on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Sundays (all local times), with a flight time of about five hours.
