Vietjet Air has officially opened flights connecting Nha Trang on the south-central coast and Taipei (Taiwan, China).

Return flights will be operated on Wednesday and Saturday starting from April 3, with a flying time of around three hours per leg. Flights depart Nha Trang at 12.30pm and arrive in Taipei at 4.35pm, while the return flight takes off from Taipei at 5.35pm and lands in Nha Trang at 7.55pm (all local times).

Vietjet currently operates more than 30 flights daily from domestic destinations to Nha Trang, international routes including Nha Trang - Seoul (South Korea), and many international charter flights.

It is the most frequent airline at Cam Ranh International Airport, which serves Nha Trang and is also home to its base, with resident pilots, cabin crews, and technicians, etc.

“With a strategy of expanding its international flight network, Vietjet offers flying opportunities for tens of millions of passengers in Vietnam and its international destinations,” said Vietjet Air Vice President Nguyen Thanh Son. “Nha Trang is a famous coastal city with attractive tourist destinations and cultural attractions. Taipei, meanwhile, also attracts visitors with its unique cultural features. The new route will connect the two famous cities and be a bridge for culture and trade.”

Vietjet boasts a technical reliability rate of 99.64 per cent, the highest in the Asia-Pacific region.
