Vietjet Air will join the third “Vietnam Goods and Tourism Week” being held at Central World Bangkok from August 22 to 26.

It invites visitors to its booth to enjoy exciting activities during the week, which include live dance performances, games, lucky draws, free promotions, and chances to win free tickets for flights around the region.

Vietjet currently operates six routes between Thailand and Vietnam: Bangkok - Ho Chi Minh City / Hanoi / Hai Phong / Da Lat; Phuket - Ho Chi Minh City; and Chiang Mai - Ho Chi Minh City.

Part of the Vietjet group, Thai Vietjet has a fleet of five A320 aircraft operating five domestic routes: Bangkok - Chiang Mai / Chiang Rai / Phuket / Krabi, and Phuket - Chiang Rai.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Binh, Vice President of Vietjet Air, said it is pleased to partner with the Central Group at the event to further promote Vietnamese cuisine, tourism and goods. “With an expanding flight network of six Thailand - Vietnam routes and five Thai domestic routes, Vietjet proudly serves as an ambassador connecting local and international travelers between the two countries and beyond,” she added. “Apart from popular Vietnamese cuisine, goods and tourism products, visitors can also enjoy a wide range of Vietjet’s activities and promotions at the event, including the opportunity to win free tickets.”

There were more than 140 Vietnamese-made commodities merchandised at the Vietnam Week last year, and this year’s event is set to be the largest yet.

Aiming to be a Consumer Airline, Vietjet has continually opened many new routes, added more modern aircraft such as A321neo and B737 Max, and invested in modern technology, while offering more add-on products and services to serve all customer demands.

Since launching operations in 2011, it has been a pioneering airline, winning the hearts of millions of travelers thanks to its exciting promotions and entertainment, especially during the festive seasons and on various holidays throughout the year.

It currently boasts a fleet of 60 aircraft, including A320s and A321s, and operates more than 385 flights each day. It has transported more than 60 million passengers on a network of 94 routes in Vietnam and across the region, including Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mainland China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar and Cambodia.

Vietjet plans to expand its network across the Asia-Pacific region, and as part of preparations has signed agreements with aircraft manufacturers to purchase more modern aircraft.
