For the very first time, Hanoi diners and connoisseurs will have the chance to enjoy the perfect sushi and Japanese haute cuisine from November 21 to 24 and 26 at Hotel du Parc Hanoi’s Azabu Restaurant, with famous Michelin-starred sushi chef Toshihide Terado.

Having worked for six years as Executive Chef at the original Sushi Azabu in New York, Chef Terado now heads the kitchen in its Kuala Lumpur branch. The original in New York has had a Michelin star for seven years in a row. With 20 years of experience in Japanese cuisine, Chef Terado has embraced the concept of Omotenashi - selfless service from the heart - and demonstrates the philosophy through elegant cooking with refined skills as well as personally taking care of each guest with warmth and respect. Each dish is meticulously prepared and exquisitely served to express the finest balance between flavor, texture, color, and appearance.

Chef Terado will introduce to Hanoi gourmets Omakase - the traditional Japanese fine dining experience in which guests leave themselves in the hands of the chef.

Diners simply sit at their table and wait to see what they will be served, which makes them curious and surprised. Dishes are prepared right in front of them, so they can observe in detail the cooking process. When the food is served, guests are free to ask the chef about the dish.

Ingredients are seasonal and every time diners visit the restaurant they will be served different dishes. Omakase dining means being face-to-face with the chef, who will gauge diners’ reaction and help guide them toward the best possible experience. Guests usually have to book a week in advance to reserve seats.
