Low-cost carrier to operate three round-trip flights a week between Hai Phong and Dong Hoi in central Quang Binh province, starting from April 29.
Low-cost carrier Jetstar Pacific will operate flights between the northern port city of Hai Phong and the central province of Quang Binh from April 29.
The carrier will conduct three round-trip flights a week, on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, using 180-seat Airbus A320 aircraft with a flight duration of one hour.
Flights from Hai Phong’s Cat Bi Airport will depart at 5.35pm and the return leg at 7.10pm from Quang Binh’s Dong Hoi Airport.
To celebrate the opening of the new route, Jetstar Pacific is offering promotional tickets from only VND40,000 ($1.80), available from 11am to midnight on March 30 at www.jetstar.com for flights between September 11 and October 29.
According to the Vietnam News Agency, the Hai Phong-Dong Hoi route brings Jetstar Pacific’s flight network to 40, which is linked with the network operated by the Jetstar Group connecting 80 destinations in 17 countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
Jetstar Pacific is a member of the Jetstar Group. It has two major shareholders: Vietnam Airlines and Australia’s Qantas Airways.
