French restaurant Jardin des Sens, a joint venture between SonKim Land and the Pourcel Château Group, opened few days ago in a heritage villa in a private yet bustling urban space in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 3.

The opening of the first Jardin des Sens restaurant in Vietnam represents a new chapter in the career of the twin Pourcel brothers, Laurent and Jacques, owners of the Pourcel Château Group, and is a strategic move by SonKim Land into the food and beverages (F&B) business.

For the Pourcel brothers, the Jardin des Sens restaurant in Vietnam is their latest venture after successfully opening restaurants in Montpellier, Shanghai, Tokyo, Geneva, Marrakech, Casablanca, and Paris. They love the experience and challenge new countries offer and want to bring to Vietnamese gourmets a sophisticated and luxurious culinary experience from France, as well as the Pourcel Château Group’s new culinary concepts, which have been very successful around the world.

For SonKim Land, which has acquired prestige and success in the luxury real estate market with projects such as Gateway Thao Dien, Serenity Sky Villas, and The Nassim, entering the F&B industry is a strategic move that will complement its core business and provide a more compelling experience for residents living in its housing, hotel, and high-end office projects.

The restaurant can seat 40 diners in an exclusive setting and is open from noon to midnight, serving Mediterranean-influenced dishes and focusing on high quality wines from the south of France and elsewhere. A well-stocked luxury bar with high-grade tea is also available for diners to enjoy before or after their sumptuous meal, complemented by tapas served while waiting.

The interior décor is a blend between classic French Romanticism and a modern, elegant style. The celebrated Michelin-star chefs at Jardin des Sens are happy to bring diners’ superb culinary feasts of the highest quality in very private surroundings, with just the right ambience, amid matching furniture and furnishings.

The Pourcel Château Group has drawn up plans to open more restaurants in Vietnam with different concepts over the next two years and SonKim Land will provide all the necessary support to ensure the plans are successfully executed.
