Furama Resort Danang, a five-star culinary beach resort in central Vietnam, picked up two trophies at the prestigious World Luxury Hotel Awards, which were held earlier this month in St. Moritz, Switzerland.

The resort was the winner in the Luxury Ocean View Resort category and the Luxury Wedding Destination category, for its prime location and excellent services.

“It’s such a great honor for us to receive further international recognition,” said Mr. Matthias Wiesmann, General Manager of Furama Resort Danang. “This is a fitting reward for the commitment of our resort to service excellence and our constant efforts in providing guests with unforgettable experiences. The awards are a reminder that we have to keep improving our service and product offerings, considering the tough competition in Vietnam’s hospitality sector.”

The wins at the World Luxury Hotel Awards come on the heels of the resort being listed among the “Hot 25 Family Hotels in Asia 2017” by the reputable Smart Travel Asia magazine.

Furama Resort Danang is part of the Ariyana Tourism Complex, including the resort, Furama Villas, the new Ariyana Beach Resort & Suites, with more than 1,000 apartments, and the Ariyana Convention Center, where a week-long series of APEC meetings and related events were held in November.

Renowned as the best culinary beach resort in Vietnam and overlooking one of the six most gorgeous beaches in the world, Furama Danang Resort comprises 198 resort rooms and 56 two- to four-bedroom pool villas, featuring tasteful décor and designed in a traditional Vietnamese style with a touch of French colonial architecture and Champa artefacts.

Since 2006, the annual World Luxury Hotel Awards have served as global recognition of hotels’ sustained commitment to excellence and outstanding achievements in the international luxury hospitality industry.

Conducted over a four-week period starting from the beginning of September, this year’s poll received some 300,000 votes from international travelers and leading tourism experts.
