Central Group Vietnam is holding the first “Big C Coffee Festival” at Big C Nha Trang from April 26 to May 1, under the direction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) and in coordination with more than 20 famous coffee brands in Vietnam.

All 36 Big C and GO! supermarkets and hypermarkets of Central Group Vietnam will take part in the festival.

Held over the long weekend, the Big C Coffee Festival promises to be an interesting destination not only for local people but also domestic and international tourists. It is also an opportunity for coffee producers to promote their products to a large number of coffee lovers, taking Vietnamese coffee products to the world.

The festival also contributes to the Group’s commitment to “contribute to the prosperity of Vietnam and improve the quality of life of Vietnamese people”.

The Big C Coffee Festival is also part of activities to implement MoIT’s “Promoting Vietnamese enterprises to directly participate in foreign distribution systems” scheme to promote Vietnamese coffee products as well as find the best products for the Central Group’s distribution network in foreign markets.

Central Group Vietnam joins hands with domestic agricultural producers in general and coffee producers in particular to provide products and improve product value even further.

It is estimated that 40,000-50,000 people will visit the festival, including a large number of international visitors mainly from China, South Korea, and Russia.

Mr. Ta Hoang Linh, Director of the European-American Market Department at MoIT, said Vietnam ranks second in the world in coffee exports, and while it is the global leader in Robusta coffee the value is still insufficient. “The establishment of Vietnamese coffee brands and the promotion of Vietnam’s coffee products to the world is an important and urgent requirement, so MoIT always supports export opportunities for domestic coffee enterprises to expand their product markets, not just raw products but more importantly finished products,” he added. “We welcome activities to help promote Vietnam’s coffee brand in the domestic and international markets. We hope the Big C Coffee Festival will be held every year and that Central Group Vietnam will also have other activities to connect with the Group’s networks overseas to promote our products to the world.”

Mr. Le Binh Hoa from Central Group Vietnam emphasized that Big C is proud to be an effective distribution channel for coffee products. “In addition to promoting coffee products with customers in the domestic market, Central Group Vietnam also organizes the Vietnam Product Week in Thailand, one of the main activities where we accompany MoIT in promoting and seeking export opportunities for Vietnamese businesses and brands, including Vietnamese coffee enterprises,” he added.
