Two days of losses turned around on February 7.

All main indexes returned to positive territory on February 7 after two days of sharp decline.
On HSX, the VN-Index opened at 1,011.60 points and closed at 1,040.55 points, gaining 28.95 points (2.86 per cent), while the VN30-Index reached 1,030.91 points, up 23.19 points (2.30 per cent).
On HNX, the HNX-Index closed at 119.62 points, up 3.99 points (3.45 per cent), the HNX30-Index 232.83 points, up 8.46 points (3.77 per cent), and the UPCoM-Index 56.76 points, up 3.3 per cent.
Liquidity on HSX was VND6.613 trillion ($291.1 million) and on HNX was VND853 billion ($37.6 million).
STB, AMD, and FLC led in liquidity on HSX with 14.3 million, 9.1 million, and 8.4 million shares changing hands.
On HSX, there were 246 shares increasing and 58 decreasing and on HNX 161 and 45.
Most large banking shares increased: BID and HDB hit their ceiling and VPB, CTG, and MBB rose 6.1, 5.7 and 5 per cent and EIB, VCB, and STB 3.8, 2.4, and 2.3 per cent. 
In food and beverages, KDC, BHN, and VNM increased 3.9, 1.5, and 1.2 per cent while SAB was unchanged and MSN lost 3.5 per cent.
In energy, PLX and GAS increased 5.1 and 5 per cent while PVD lost 4.1 per cent and NT2 was unchanged.
Most real estate and construction also increased: VRE hit its ceiling and CTD, HBC, and KDH increased 3.1, 2.9, and 2.3 per cent, while NVL and VIC lost 1.3 and 0.1 per cent.
Among other large caps, VJC and DHG hit their ceiling and PNJ, FPT, BVH, HPG, and MWG rose 4.8, 4.4, 2.6, 2.6, and 1.3 per cent.
The Top 5 rising shares on HSX were AAA, VNE, VJC, HCM, and HDB, and the Top 5 falling shares were RIC, UIC, VPS, TNC, and CDO.
Foreign investors net sold on HSX by VND256.49 billion ($11.3 million) and net bought on HNX by VND3.42 billion ($150,000).
