All main indexes close in positive territory.

PVS, PVD, and PVB continued to gain momentum on September 14 while GAS returned to its reference price.

On HSX, the VN-Index ended the day at 991.34 points, up 3.39 points (0.34 per cent), while the VN30-Index closed at 960.60 points, up 3.43 points (0.36 per cent).

On HNX, the HNX-Index finished at 113.37 points, up 0.71 points (0.63 per cent), the HNX30-Index 205.6 points, up 0.95 points (0.46 per cent), and the UPCoM-Index 51.95 points, up 0.23 points (0.44 per cent).

Liquidity on HSX was VND3.5 trillion ($150.7 million) and on HNX was VND639 billion ($27.5 million).

Food and beverage stocks to gain ground included TAC, BBC, BHN and SAB, by 6.1, 5.5, 2.4 and 0.4 per cent, as TLG lost 2 per cent and KDC and VCF closed at their opening price.

Gainers in banking included VCB, CTG and SSI, by 1.7, 1.1 and 0.9 per cent, as BVH lost 1.3 per cent, MSN and MBB 0.9 per cent, and BID 0.4 per cent. EIB and TPB closed at their opening price.

In energy, PGD gained 1.3 per cent, PVD 1.2 per cent, and PLX 1.1 per cent, NT2 lost 1.6 per cent, PVT 0.6 per cent, and PPC 0.3 per cent, and GAS closed at its opening price.

The Top 5 shares bought by foreign investors were VNM, VCB, KDC, PLX and YEG.

MSN was the largest net sold share on HSX, followed by VCI, DHG, NCT and VHM.

VGC was the largest net sold share on HNX, followed by HAD, PVC, ICG and TNG.

On UPCoM, foreign investors bought 166,179 shares worth VND7.86 billion ($338,445).

They net bought on HSX by VND134.65 billion ($5.8 million) and on HNX by VND26.39 billion ($1.1 million).
