Gains all round on March 2.

All main indexes closed higher on March 2, with the VN-Index rising slightly on the back of gains in banking and real estate.
The VN-Index closed at 1,121.21 points on HSX, up 5.42 points (0.49 per cent), and the VN30-Index 1,106.92 points, up 1.04 points (0.10 per cent).
On HNX, the HNX-Index closed at 128.25 points, up 1.15 points (0.91 per cent), the HNX30-Index 248.81 points, up 3.05 points (1.24 per cent), and the UPCoM-Index 60.17 points, up 0.35 points (0.58 per cent).
Liquidity on HSX reached VND6.632 trillion ($291.3 million) and on HNX was VND1.011 trillion ($44.4 million).
CTG, SCR and STB led in liquidity on HSX, with 16.3 million, 11.6 million and 11.1 million shares, respectively, changing hands.
There were 148 shares increasing on HSX and 126 falling, while 103 rose and 79 fell on HNX. 
Most banking large caps closed higher: VPB by 4.6 per cent and ACB, MBB and VCB 1.1, 0.9 and 0.4 per cent, while CTG and BID remained unchanged and STB lost 0.3 per cent. 
In energy, GAS and PVD both rose 0.9 per cent, NT2 remained unchanged, and PVS and PLX fell 2.4 and 0.9 per cent.
In food and beverages, VNM, BHN and MSN gained 1.7, 0.7 and 0.5 per cent while KDC and SAB lost 3.3 and 1.7 per cent.
In real estate and construction, KDH, HBC, HDG and VIC increased 4.6, 4.0, 2.3 and 0.5 per cent while NVL, CTD and VRE shed 2.8, 1.1 and 0.4 per cent.
Among other large caps, only VJC and FPT rose, by 0.7 and 0.5 per cent, while MWG, HPG, DHG, PNJ and BVH lost 0.8, 0.6, 0.5, 0.4 and 0.1 per cent.
The Top 5 rising shares on HSX were NBB, VAF, NAV, QBS and FMC while the Top 5 falling shares were VMD, STT, AGF, SCD and DXV.
The Top 5 rising shares on HNX were TTL, HHC, CAG, X20 and MLS while the Top 5 falling shares were KHL, DC4, IDJ, SJE and KTS.
Foreign investors net sold on HSX by VND127.38 billion ($5.6 million) and net bought on HNX by VND17.19 billion ($760,000).
