All major banking caps increased: BID by 2.9 per cent, CTG 1.5 per cent, EIB 0.8 per cent, SBT 0.7 per cent, VCB 0.5 per cent, and MBB 0.3 per cent.

In energy, GAS rose 1.8 per cent, PLX closed at its opening price, and CNG and PGD lost 1.3 per cent and 0.9 per cent, respectively.

Cash flow returned to the banking sector and that, in turn, made the VN-Index break through the short-term resistance level of 755 points. The US Fed is meeting from Tuesday to Thursday, with analysis suggesting it will increase interest rates. In the gold, stock, and bond markets, no significant movement of index points were seen, which illustrates investors have already taken such a policy into account. With a neutral market scale, an expanded marginal fluctuation range, and higher liquidity, BSC expects the market to fluctuate within a range of 755-760 points tomorrow.
