VN30-Index the only loser.

The VN-Index saw the week out at 1,039.01 points on HSX on June 8, up 2.32 points (0.22 per cent), while the VN30-Index finished at 1,025.87 points, down 0.88 points (0.09 per cent).

On HNX, the HNX-Index closed at 119.86 points, up 0.87 points (0.73 per cent), the HNX30-Index 218.14 points, up 0.51 points (0.23 per cent), and the UPCoM-Index 53.82 points, up 0.04 points (0.07 per cent).

Liquidity on HSX was VND3.8 trillion ($166.6 million) and VND609.9 billion ($26.7 million) on HNX.

Most large food and beverage stocks lost ground, with TAC, SAB, KDC, VCF, VNM and BHN falling 5.1, 1.2, 0.9, 0.3, 0.2 and 0.1 per cent, respectively. BBC and TLG closed at their opening price.

In banking, TCB gained 6.9 per cent, VPB 4.6 per cent, SSI 1.9 per cent, VCB 1.7 per cent, BID 1 per cent, and CTG 0.7 per cent. MSN lost 1.5 per cent, TPB 0.9 per cent, STB 0.8 per cent, and MBB 0.5 per cent, while BVH, EIB and VCI closed at their opening price.

Gainers in energy included PLX, by 1.9 per cent. GAS lost 2.1 per cent, NT2 2 per cent, PVT 1.4 per cent, PPC 0.6 per cent, and PVD 0.3 per cent, as PGD closed at its opening price.

The Top 5 shares bought by foreign investors were HPG, HCM, BVH, VSC and DPM.

DHG was the largest net share sold on HSX, followed by GAS, DXG, HDB and VIC.

VGC was the largest net share sold on HNX, followed by STC, PVS, PLC and DP3.

On UPCoM, foreign investors bought 691,530 shares worth VND6.41 billion ($281,300).

They net sold on HSX by VND33.04 billion ($1.4 million) and on HNX by VND18.61 billion ($816,700).
