All main indexes again finish in negative territory.

All main indexes on Vietnam’s stock market lost ground on June 27.

The VN-Index on HSX finished at 968.91 points, down 14.11 points (1.44 per cent), while the VN30-Index ended the day at 961.29 points, down 12.61 points (1.29 per cent).

On HNX, the HNX-Index closed at 109.66 points, down 1.26 points (1.13 per cent), the HNX30-Index 198.1 points, down 0.21 points (0.11 per cent), and the UPCoM-Index 51.96 points, down 0.19 points (0.37 per cent).

Liquidity on HSX was VND2.7 trillion ($117.9 million) and VND641.9 billion ($28 million) on HNX.

A number of large food and beverage stocks lost ground, with BHN, TAC, VCF, TLG and VNM falling 5.4, 3.1, 1.1, 0.5 and 0.5 per cent, respectively, as KDC gained 2.4 per cent and SAB closed at its opening price.

Losers in banking included SSI, by 5.4 per cent, VPB 4.4 per cent, CTG 3.8 per cent, BID 3.6 per cent, VCB and MBB 2.2 per cent, MSN 1.8 per cent, STB 1.7 per cent, VCI 1.6 per cent, TCB 1.5 per cent, BVH 0.8 per cent, and TPB 0.5 per cent.

In energy, PVT gained 2.3 per cent, PVD 1.1 per cent, PPC 0.9 per cent and GAS 0.2 per cent, while PLX lost 1.3 per cent and NT2 and PGD closed at their opening price.

The Top 5 shares bought by foreign investors were YEG, CTD, GAS, DXG and KDC.

VIC was the largest net share sold on HSX, followed by VHM, DIG, MSN and HPG.

VGC was the largest net share sold on HNX, followed by VNT, PLC, PTI and VNR.

On UPCoM, foreign investors bought 421,587 shares worth VND11.27 billion ($491,950).

They net bought on HSX by VND2.2 trillion ($96.1 million) and on HNX by VND5.77 billion ($252,100).
