HSX down while HNX up.

The VN-Index ended July 10 on HSX at 911.12 points, down 4.00 points (0.44 per cent), while the VN30-Index closed at 897.96 points, down 0.77 points (0.09 per cent).

On HNX, the HNX-Index closed at 101.62 points, up 0.86 points (0.86 per cent), the HNX30-Index 179.07 points, up 0.15 points (0.08 per cent), and the UPCoM-Index 49.55 points, up 0.24 points (0.48 per cent).

Liquidity on HSX was VND2.1 trillion ($91.1 million) and VND370.6 billion ($16.08 million) on HNX.

Food and beverage stocks to lose ground included BBC and SAB by 6.9 and 0.3 per cent, respectively, as BHN gained 6.9 per cent, BID 1.5 per cent, TLG 1.3 per cent, VCI 0.8 per cent, and TPB 0.7 per cent. MSN and STB closed at their opening price.

Losers in banking included BVH, TCB, VCB, SSI and EIB, by 3, 3, 1.7, 0.4 and 0.4 per cent, respectively, as VPB gained 2.6 per cent, CTG 1.1 per cent, MBB 1 per cent, and VCI 2.8 per cent. EIB closed at its opening price.

In energy, NT2 gained 1.3 per cent, PVT 1 per cent and GAS 0.6 per cent, as PVD lost 0.8 per cent and PPC 0.6 per cent. PGD and PLX closed at their opening price.

The Top 5 shares bought by foreign investors were CTD, NT2, VCI, CVT and HDB.

VIC was the largest net share sold on HSX, followed by MSN, NVL, CII and VCB.

HMH was the largest net share sold on HNX, followed by PVS, LAS, TV3 and TAG.

On UPCoM, foreign investors bought 1,194,801 shares worth VND5.15 billion ($223,465).

They net sold on HSX by VND80.39 billion ($3.5 million) and net bought on HNX by VND11.87 billion ($515,100).
