The Generali Vietnam Life Insurance LLC has officially launched a new app called GenClaims - a revolution in the claims process.

Generali customers are able to complete and submit claims requests via the mobile app within five minutes and should receive a claims status response within 30 minutes. If the claims request is accepted and meets the required criteria, payment will be transferred within 24 hours.

“The introduction of GenClaims is not only a technological revolution but also a change in traditional practice, which reinforces our motto of ‘Simpler, Smarter, Customer-centric’,” said Ms. Tina Nguyen, CEO of Generali Vietnam. “We are delighted to introduce GenClaims, another customer experience enhancement.”

She added that since the launch of GENPS - the Generali Net Promoter System - six months ago, the company has received valuable feedback from customers and continuously enhanced its efforts to improve the customer experience. “Simplification of the claims process is one of our priorities due to the significant impact on the customer experience,” Ms. Nguyen said.

The claims process is a key concern for customers and the efficiency of the process is therefore a measurement of service quality in the life insurance industry. With GenClaims, Generali Vietnam reinforces its leading position by prioritizing investment in the customer experience.

After more than six years of operations, Generali Vietnam has a network of more than 60 branch offices and GenCasa (agency offices and customer service centers), serving approximately 200,000 clients. In recent years, Generali Vietnam has been one of the fastest growing companies within the Generali Group and in Vietnam and currently ranks sixth among life insurers in the market in terms of new business premiums.

Generali Vietnam’s key strategy is in line with the Generali Group’s, which is the only insurance company to be included in the “Top 50 Smartest Companies” in the world by MIT Technology Review in 2015. It was also voted one of the 100 most sustainable companies in the world in the Corporate Knights rankings in 2017. Generali places a strong emphasis on customer centricity and is proud that the Generali Net Promoter System has been recognized as the world’s best by Medallia, a global leader in customer experience management, consulting and software, in 2017.

Generali Vietnam is a member of the Generali Group, an independent Italian group with a strong international presence. Established in 1831, it is among the world’s leading insurers and is present in over 60 countries, with total premium revenue exceeding €68 billion ($83.7 billion) in 2017. With nearly 71,000 employees around the world and 57 million customers, the Group has a leading position in Western Europe and an increasingly significant presence in Central and Eastern Europe as well as in Asia.
